BOSIET / 0.5A (incl. CA-EBS & NOG Supplement)
The BOSIET/0.5A + OLF-supplement (Basic Survival) is a basic offshore training designed for new entrants to the offshore industry.
Oil and Gas companies worldwide seek to ensure that everyone travelling to one of their offshore assets (production platform, drill rig, FPSO etc.) must have completed an appropriate offshore safety and emergency training course before being allowed to travel to their offshore asset. The OPITO-approved BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) with Compressed Air Breathing System (CA-EBS) course provides the delegate with a range of knowledge and skills relevant to travelling offshore by helicopter and working offshore, including safety induction, fire safety and basic firefighting; first aid; using a CA-EBS; helicopter safety and escape; and survival at sea.
During this course participants learn what they need to know about:
- Safety induction
- Lifeboat Theory/Practice
- Survival Theory/Practice
- Helicopter safety/HUET + CA-EBS
- First Aid
- Fire fighting

OPITO code 5750, NOGEPA Approved & OLF/NSOC-D Accepted Basic training. Validity: 4 years, Refresher within 4 years: FOET/0.5 B.
By default courses organised via DELTA are in the English language. For Dutch, dates on request (if enough participants).
