Heftruck (Basis, 2 dagen)
The 2-day practical training Working Safely with the Forklift is intended for people who occasionally or regularly drive a forklift and have not previously obtained a forklift license. During this training, participants learn how they can safely and efficiently work with a forklift. The training can be concluded with either an SSVV Training Guide (SOG) or DELTA exam.
Note: To participate in SSVV Training Guide (SOG) exams, participants must be in possession of a valid certificate Basic Safety VCA or VOL VCA.
This training consists of a theoretical and practical part:
- Practical and safe handling of the forklift truck: tools, inspections and maintenance, capabilities and strengths of the forklift.
- Safety regulations regarding use, construction and design, transport routes and stacking areas.
- Driving skills and safe transport.
- Prevention of accidents and injury.
- Recognizing hazardous defects.
The Open Enrollment Training consists of 2 days of instruction from 08.00 to 16.00 hours for groups of an avarage of 8 participants. Both the theoretical and the practical part will be completed with a test. For groups and in-company training, the course and times (evenings and weekends are also possible) can be adjusted.
With sufficient result, the participant receives a DELTA or SSVV Training Guide (SOG) Working Safely with the Forklift certificate. These certificates are valid for 5 years.
The SSVV Training Guide (SOG) and DELTA exams Working Safely with the Forklift are available in all European languages. For languages other than Dutch we are happy to make you a tailored offer.
Due to the SSVV criteria, practical exams are usually conducted at DELTA. Our fully equipped training center optimally complies with the requirements of the SSVV. The training can also be provided at your location if this meets the standard of the SSVV.
Conditions for participation
The minimum age to obtain the DELTA certificate is 16 years. To participate in the SSVV Training Guide exam the minimum age is 18 years. Also, participants in the SSVV training guide (SOG) exam of this course must be in possession of a valid certificate Basic Safety VCA or VOL VCA.
The price listed on the top right of this page holds for the Dutch course and includes teaching materials, use of the practice means, the DELTA certificate and lunch / coffee / tea. For the SSVV Training Guide Exam € 57 will be charged in addition. All prices exclude 21% VAT.
