Pressure Vacuum Pump Operator – Basic training
The course Pressure Vacuum Supervisor prepares regulators in the (petro) chemical industry and middle management in industrial cleaning companies for the written SIR-exam Pressure Vacuum Supervisor (TDV). These supervisors must have sufficient knowledge and skills to ensure a safe state of affairs in the preparation and implementation of pressure-vacuum cleaning activities.
According to the SIR a supervisor must be aware of all the risks applicable to industrial cleaning. Furthermore, he/she has to be able to prepare, assess and explain a H & S plan (Health and Safety)), a RIE (Risk Assessment and Evaluation) and a TRA (Task Risk Analysis). To prepare well for the SIR exam, this training covers all these topics. This course focuses on:

- Operation of a pressure-vacuum installation
- Risks Classification
- Industrial cleaning techniques
- Safety when working with a pressure-vacuum installation
- Construction of a pressure-vacuum installation
- Personal protective equipment
- Methods for cleaning
With sufficient result, the candidate receives the SIR certificate Pressure Vacuum Supervisor (TDV). This certificate is valid for 4 years.
The Pressure Vacuum Supervisor (TDV) training and exam can be taught in Dutch, English, German and French. For languages other than Dutch we are happy to make you a tailored offer.
This course can be given at DELTA as well as on your own location.
Conditions for participation
The participant should control the language in which the exam is conducted in both written and spoken form.
The price of the course is on request. The price of the SIR exam is € 72,25 per person to participate in the Open Exam and the price of the handbook is €32,25 each. The exam and the handbook are charged separately by SIR.
