The 1-day practical training ‘Safe Working with the Reach Truck’ is intended for people who occasionally or regularly drive a reach truck. During this training the participants learn to work safely and efficiently with a reach truck. On request, this training is also regularly carried out in combination with the Safe working with the Forklift course, both at DELTA and at the location of the client. Because the theory of these courses is almost the same, this combination provides a cost and time saving compared to following two separate courses.
The Safe working with the Reachtruck training course consists of a theoretical and practical part:
• Practical and safe handling of the reach truck: tools, inspections and maintenance, possibilities and forces of the reach truck
• Safety instructions
• Driving and safe transportation
• Preventing accidents and damage
• Recognizing dangerous defects
The Open Enrollment course consists of 1 day instruction from 8 am to 4 pm for groups of an average of 8 participants. Both the theory and the practical part are concluded with a test. For groups and in-company trainings the course form and times (evenings and weekends are also possible) can be adjusted.
With sufficient results, the participant receives a DELTA certificate Safe Working with the Reachtruck. This certificate is valid for 5 years.
The training is conducted in the Dutch language. In the case of English-speaking groups, the instruction can be provided in the English language.
This training can be done at DELTA or at your location.
