Twin Ferrule Fittings
The course ‘Working with Twin Ferrule Fittings’ is intended for employees who need to (re) assemble twin ferrule fittings on a (petrochemical) company site. During this course, participants learn how to properly assemble instrumentation fittings and recognize other types and brands of fittings to prevent components from being used interchangeably. This training leads to an SSVV Training Guide certificate. Note: To participate in SSVV Training Guide (SOG) examinations, participants must be in possession of a valid Basic Safety VCA or VCA. The costs of the SOG exam are, exceptionally, INCLUDED with this training.
This training consists of a theoretical and practical part:
• Type of fittings
• Tube aspects
• Material handling
• Assembly requirements
• Recognition of different brands, sizes and
• Making a workpiece according to work assignment
• Mounting exercise with three different fittings
The Open Enrollment training Twin Ferrule Fittings consists of 1 day instruction from 8 am to 4 pm. Both the theory and the practical part are concluded with a test. For groups and in-company trainings the course form and times (evenings and weekends are also possible) can be adjusted.
With sufficient results, the participant receives an SSVV Training Guide certificate Working with Twin Ferrule Fittings. This certificate is valid for 5 years.
The SSVV Training Guide exam Working with Twin Ferrule Fittings can be done in the English or German language, except in the Dutch language. For courses with exams in these foreign languages, we are happy to make a tailor-made offer for you.
This training is best performed on location at DELTA Safety Training. We have the necessary workbenches and tools.
Conditions for participation
Participants must be at least 18 years old and have some experience in it
bending tubing. To participate in the SSVV training guide (SOG) exam of this course, participants must be in possession of a valid VCA Basic Safety or VCA.
The price mentioned at the top right of this page is for the Dutch language
course including teaching materials, use of practical resources, the exam and lunch / coffee / tea. The high price of this course is partly due to the (high) price of the SOG exam, which is included in the rate. This includes all the material and test costs required for the exam, which is relatively expensive. All prices are exclusive of 21% VAT.
